Facility Details
Durkee Park has a pavilion, facilities, playground and a fishing dock in a beautiful setting on the west branch of the Tioughnioga River. This picturesque picnic area is used by local organizations and families for group happenings.
New Procedure for 2021: Security deposits are no longer required, and the village will no longer hand out keys to the facilities. When you rent the pavilion, you will be asked to fill out a form that lets us know the time frame of your visit. If you would like access to the restrooms, they will be opened by village staff approx. 15 minutes before your reservation, and locked after.
Rental Fee: $125 For Residents of the Village and Town of Homer
$175 For Non-Residents
Rental Season: 5/1 - 10/17
Reservations must be made at least 14 day in advance.
Persons making reservations will be responsible for any damages to the facility used. Therefore, persons reserving the facility must be 21 years of age or older.

• No alcohol without certificate of insurance
(certificate of insurance must be submitted 30 days prior to event)
• No smoking
• No glass containers
• No sale of alcoholic beverages
• No excessively loud music
• No stakes put in the ground
(I.e. tents volleyball nets, unless cleared by Director of Parks & Recreation)
• No parking on grass areas
• No bounce houses, dunk tanks, water slides, or sprinkler hoses
